  • I've just released my first Contruct 2 powered game exclusive for Wii U.

The game uses Wii U's gamepad gyroscope for precise ball movement. The framerate is a bit low and there's no sound (the Wii U browser supports no sound yet) but the game is playable :)

  • Wow, cool! I don't have a wii U, but that's very neat!

(You may want to consider changing the name BTW, that name has some... connotations)

  • I have a Wii U, so I was able to play the game as well! :D

Pretty interesting! I haven't played a Construct 2 game on the Wii U browser before! (I think I tried playing a game I made on it, but it didn't work.)

I have noticed that when I turn the Gamepad around (somewhat violently :P), I accidentally press the back buttons, which brings up the tabs! (Not sure if anything can be done about that though...)

I'm afraid not, buttons that are mapped to functions of the browser can't be accessed - and if they can, you can't disable their default functions.

  • Am I to assume that the touch object's accelerate option works on the Wii U gamepad?

  • How did you get it to work only on wii U?
