Bob's Tale

Greetings!

Thought i'd might share my recent creation with ya'll. Its a short little game made for a contest, while i was at the worlds 2nd largest LAN./ It did win 2nd place, and a total of $1300!

It must be said, that i spent about 2 short evenings and a 48 hour crunch, doing everything except animations and music :)

In very near future i'll polish it, add some more variety/challenge and better art :) Keep your headset on though, the music is quite cool!

AARRRRRSSH!!!! It seems that my computer is not powerful enough to run your game. I'm soooo disappointed. I will try with another computer later. Every time I past the swimming level, my Google Chrome freezes and all the tabs don't work anymore.

Nevertheless, as far as I have played, the game looks really good. I'm not surprised you guys won a competition. Be sure, I will leave feedback once, I tested it. By the way, feel free to try also my game and leave me some comment. I will appreciate. You can play it trough my signature.

Ahh, you are not alone! I've done some very cheap stuff when it comes to art assets in the 2nd level..

The sprites are incredibly big, even though most of it is transparent. This results in a big loading time from level 1 to 2. I will update it, so that it runs smooth on every pc, as well as adding some variation and polishing the art :)

Oh and yeah, tested yours some time ago. Lookin' good :)

I've done quite a few updates now. Fixed the crash bugs (i hope), but got a longer startup load in return - a fair trade i'd say!

Its the same link, but do note, that if you have tested it before and tries the same link, it might use the old data (which is saved on your computer). Try it in another browser, or delete the data :)

I really like your game Era. The art, and music flow well together giving your game a bit of a bittersweet emotion to the whole game play. It was a little difficult navigating through the asteroids but I made it to the end. Well done! And congratulations on placing 2nd :)

Thanks for the kind words :) I've done some updates now, but it still remains to add some enemies, tweak the space part, and redo the cutscenes!
