Bones/vector based animation.

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Tue Apr 21, 2015 10:26 am

Good day all,

I need some general overview on how a joint-based animation/character can be set up in construct 2.

I have heard of the spriter plugin but I still wonder if anyone already achieved a bone/joint based movement and animation system that they would recommend as an example.

Thank you

I would recommend against creating a bone animation-system from scratch using pinned sprites..

But you can pin sprites to image points using the pin-behaviour
and you can set the position of those image points in the image editor.

I'm not sure what pointers you are looking for..
A more specific question would be easier to answer.

The manual on this site is pretty good and there are many tutorials.
Also be sure to check out the examples provided with c2 in the new project dialog.
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

A more specific question would be "what is the best approach (or any suggestions) on making a bone based animation in scirra?"

I will check.
