Excellent books Kyatric. I got the first two though. Haven't read the last one on your. I particularly loved Jesse Schell's Art of Game Design.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Business-iPhone-iPad-Development/dp/1430233001/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369261701&sr=8-1&keywords=The+business+of+ipad+app+development+book

'The business of ipad app development' book contains lots of useful information, including how best to market a free app, use of advertising, etc. Even if you're creating your game for PC, there's lots of helpful marketing advice which could be useful when approaching the later stages of your project.

Your horror games coming together nicely by the way, Robin. Love your art style and the smoothness of your character animations.

@Dave Hailwood, the more info the better! Right? (Or not... Hmm... Let's not delve into that question)
And thanks so much

The first book gave birth of a tool for game design called Machinations.

Gamasutra blog.

The tool itself

Game Design Secrets got a corny name and a horrible cover, but it's a well made compilation of stories, with a strong focus on monetization, and some nice post mortem (Waking Mars, among others)

Level up is a book that goes through the basics, but in an easy and consistent way. You may or may not like the tone, best to check it before buying. I consider it a good sum up of things to remember.
...but this is mostly psychological. Check my devlog
