• Hello all!

I just bought the Personal version on Steam, but am encountering a few problems:

    1. Whenever I try to load any other Project Example (than the two mentioned), the program keeps on wanting me to download the free edition again from Steam... It seems there is no way to open up one of those project examples (in the folder) with the Personal Edition...

    2. I have read that when people buy the editions from the website, they get their sprites (of this tutorial: scirra.com/tutorials/253/how-to-make-a-platform-game ) sent to them per email, but I cannot start the tutorial now (and I can't sleep yet! ) because I am getting no email...

    Thank you and kind regards!

  • Anyone please?

Would love to get my hands on those sprites so I can start the next tutorial...

  • I recall someone who'm bought the game through steam getting their sprites after he emailed the support. So try that, they are really friendly and quick to help people :)

Oh, I will try that... Thank you for your reply!

  • Anyone else who purchased Construct 2 off Steam but doesn't have access to sprites, please email us and we'll give you a link to download them. We should have this fixed in the next update on Steam!

  • Try Construct 3

I have this exact same problem.

I have tried right-clicking the file and selecting the default program to open with.. but there is no differentiation between the free and paid versions.

Even if I browse and select the paid version and save, it still tries to open it with the free version, and thus Steam tries to install it..

I also have the second problem of no email link and have emailed support.

I am receiving other emails such as beta releases, but not the one with the licence file or Bundled assets.
