breakable blocks help.

Ive been having trouble breaking blocks when I jump from underneath them. If I make it a solid, then for some odd reason, I can only break it from the sides. But if I make it a jump through then it wont be solid on the sides to help me jump on top, but it will break on the bottom. Id just like to have the blocks be as close to Mario as possible. Any tips?

How are you trying to set this up?

on collision with block - break block should work, right?
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

I'm doing; when the player is jumping, and when he collides with block, it'll be destroyed. I also connected a condition to the "on collision with block" that says "if player is greater than block.y". So I added the compare y thing to it.Codeman3202013-12-29 13:46:37

i'd have to see your capx or event sheet to know where the issue lies.

use a hitbox under your bricks and compare if the hitbox is touched and the brick is on collision that will work

hitbox = sprite that is under the brick the width should be identical.
      [BRICK]
      (Hitbox)

EVENT
if PLAYER is overlapping HITBOX & ON COLLISION with BRICK

than ACTION
