[BUG] Thin lines of Tiled Background objects in Parallax

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Fri Sep 11, 2015 2:19 am

Hi C2 fellas!

My game uses a Tiled Background parallax, but there is an inconvenient bug that shows one or more thin lines (1 ~ 2 pixel) above parallax objects.

This bug doesn't appear anymore in the execution of the test layout on the PC via C2, but only in the smartphone or tablet.

Anyone know a resolution to this bug?

Thank you in advance by the attention and collaboration.

Are the lines vertical? I have odd vertical line issues with the SpriteFonts too.

I don't check the forums much anymore, but I will receive an email for PMs.

Hi @gumshoe2029! ^^

The lines are horizontal and from the Tiled Background objects used on Parallax effect.

I read some things about this bug on the forum, but it seems that neither Construct creators themselves have a solution for that. :(

Someone has a suggestion to solve this problem?

When searching, you'll see that it is a recurring problem and probably no apparent solution. :(

I have the same issue, but only on CocoonJS and CocoonIO.
If you disable WebGL it works

https://forums.cocoon.io/t/construct-2-list-of-bugs/383

Scroll down till bug 3.

Thanks for the answer, @AndreasR. :D

I cannot turn off WebGL, 'cause this can make the game slower and susceptible to unwanted crashes.

Just try it for testing. So you see if it's WebGL or not ;)

Why haven't you posted a screenshot like I asked? You obviously want help, do your part.

Sorry @Tekniko dude. But it's because I don't want to publish anything visual about my game now and how the error is easy to identify (and previously related here) and are well described, I found the image unnecessary.

Thanks for your attention and colaboration.
