Bullet+Physics behaviors results in ???

For questions about using Classic.

Hello, I'm new here, and I have a problem.

I'm testing out a concept of a player shooting "gravity bullets" that interact with the environment using the physics behavior. Unfortunately, there are two problems:

1. The bullet does not fire at the mouse
2. The bullet rarely interacts with the box

here's the .cap file:

EDIT: the interaction problem seemed to be caused by setting the bounding box to ellipse. Still trying to figure out the other problem...

You have Bullet behavior applied to your bullet. It's overriding your Physics behavior.

If you want an object to interact with other physics objects, you need to have it use physics only. When you mix physics with other behaviors you get weird results.

Remove the Bullet behavior. Try setting force of your physics object towards mousex, mousey when it's spawned. Oh, and uncheck "Immovable."

Thank you very much! :D I thought it had something to do with the two behaviors, but I didn't know you could set force.
