Ohhh. I thought the multiple lights comment was only regarding dynamic shadow-casting attempts. The way the posts are arranged is misleading, I guess.

Nice touch to the ground etc... I like it... it's subtle but looks great. I noticed it runs a bit slower though on the laptop... on my main PC it doesn't seem to affect performance at all. Can't wait to see if you have any luck with multiple light sources!

Multiple light sources was in regards to dynamic shadow casting - it's possible with bumpmapping but you essentially need a bumpmap effect for every light, which would probably run too slow for this use. Maybe there's a way I can work out to do that better.
