C2 generating sounds

So apparently the sound api can handle sound generation fairly well.

I was wondering if rather than using a lib to play mod files maybe we should be looking at actually being able to make our own sounds from within C2 itself.
I don't see that we have the ability to change frequencies, or generate a tone/noise from scratch, but a time line would be fairly simple.

Loading a json, or even procedurally generating music would be pretty incredible.
