Can Construct 2 handle such a project?

So, I was thinking of create a game in 2D like Fallout 4 and Skyrim for the next 3 years.
Was asking myself if construct 2 engine can handle such a project.
If you have experiences with professional games that took years to make on construct 2 let me know.
And I am serious about this project.

Fallout 4 and Skyrim are not 2D. They are 3D.

Are you planning on making a 2D version of those kind of games? Isometric? Or did you mean real time 3D?

C2 doesn't really do 3D well, even though there's some plugin for that. But you can use prerendered 3D sprites to make a 2D game that looks like 3D.

I really did mean 2D. As in terms of a platformer open world.

Check out number 3 its similar to what you want to make and was successful (over 100,000 downloads).

Why not?

@SoldjahBoy seems to be working on some massive open world stuff in this thread.

Oh yeah, that is very close to the idea. :D
I will try it though and will have faith along the way. :)

Fixed and Randomized dungeons? speech dialogue, RPG progression, battle and item System? i can't think of a single mechanic Skyrim has that you couldn't recreate in Construct 2 in some form, however, if you want to get Skyrim level of details, you will probably stretch Construct 2 before you even get half finished.

This guy made good progress with an RPG but was forced to switch to Unity because of Construct's limitations.

Also, i am not sure 3 years is nearly enough for a solo developer to create a 2d open world side scroller in the level of details Skyrim has.

Thank you for the suggestion! I see he mentioned some limitations like 10.000 image limit.
Most probably I would not make such a powerful game, but I would just finish the game if I was about to hit the limit.
I will split the project on several games and then combine them together into one on Construct 2.
