I'm working on the next Diablo-killer
This is the first Battlesystem Test: *updated*
You have to kill all crawlers and their nests.
Use the arrow keys/ WASD to move,
mouse for aiming,
left click is attacking,
ESC returns to Title.




You are able to test two Weapons in two different 'missions'
designed to be challenging but beatable.
Blind attacking and reacting leads to fast death,
anticipating enemy movements and timing are crucial

It's poorly written with some horrible formulas
and a lot 'work arounds', it works but not well

BUGS:
Sometimes the weapon freezes, also the particles flicker

I recommend you allow W,A,S,D movement.

Me too!
And maybe the attack can be faster? Like, one fast swing.

Agree with both above about W,A,S,D.

I can see where you are going with this, its really smooth to play. I enjoy the fact that you hit a little slower than usual - but the monster movement should be slow enough that they wont hit you before you can finish your hit animation imo.

That or you could have the monsters nearby get pushed back a little. I could see the Zelda shield mechanic being implemented pretty easy as well.
