OK so I just checked out the engine revision that Deadeye sent me, and it's making progress nicely. I will take the next couple of days to try and redesign the main character with some sketches, so I can then start working on redoing the entire character from scratch.

Since this project is becoming a little more serious than I originally intended, a fully original character would be the way to go in terms of really making a game. Certain animation sequences will be very similar in order to keep the mechanics the same, but none the less it will be all freehand and fresh. I will submit a character sketch once it's done and Deadeye is happy with it to give you guys some insight into what her new look will be.

Hang tight... the demo won't be far away at this rate, but the final version may be further away than originally anticipated.

That comment of yours rang the bell in my head signaling you didnt want it to be too much of a free runner. Anyway glad you got me back on track :D Im excited to see your new original character !

Hello! I got an inspiration of the title "Chamber" and the mood of the game and made a piece of music. (Well, the game itself could be a little darker...) You may use it in the game, if you want to :) (And if needed, I can make it a little longer and loopable)

Yeah I can see how you thought I meant otherwise with my comment. What I meant was more the pace of the game may not exactly be aimed at going "fast fast fast". There will be a little more timing and thought that will go into it, while at the same time the idea is to try and go as fast you can.

Damn this is taking forever to download... slow crappy interwebs at work.... will report back later.

Thanks a lot for that Drasa... I know deadeye already PM'd you so I'll wait to hear back from him in regards to the things he spoke to you about. That music will definitely be used, at this stage probably for the title screen, only because it doesn't loop or anything... but it's freakin' wicked. I was talking to a friend of mine onyla few days ago about the kind of music I wanted, and we started looking up the old "Shadow of the Beast" on youtube... and that was the kind of music I was looking for... and GUESS WHAT? OMG U STOLED MAI IDEEZ AN RAEP MAI BRAENZ WIFJOR FINGORZ OF ALL JOOR MENTL ARE BELONG TO US!!!1

So I heard I sketched out the new character concept design. Let me know what you guys think... I was gonna send to Deadeye first, but I figure the more the merrier :D



The bits that aren't inked in yet I am still playing around with... like the double pony tail, and some acceptable footwear. ;)

Oh, and sorry about the two piece scan... the image is A3 (that's double letter size for you yankies) so it doesn't fit on my scanner lol.
