Change animation frame

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Fri Oct 19, 2012 4:15 pm

I have a mouth animation with a smile on frame 0 and then an Oh shape on frame 1.

I want to touch a character and then have his smile turn to an Oh. But at the moment, the layout loads and almost immediately his mouth changes without any interaction.

See the code I have in the image. Any ideas? Thanks.

Set the speed of the animation to 0 and try again :)

Brilliant. Stuck it on an "every tick" and it worked perfectly. Thanks!kenhes2012-10-19 16:49:10

Great! Note that you can also do this from within the animation editor. Simply open up the sprite, click onto the animation frames to the right (should show "default") and more info will appear to the left. This should save you having to do an event for it :)
