Change audio playback rate based on car speed?

Hey,
I Have been trying to link my cars current Speed to the audio playback rate in order for my cars engine pitch to change in real time.
but I am not sure how to do this. currently when I accelerate it just plays a looping one tone sound.
I would like it to say, be 0.5 at speed 0 then grow to a max of 2.5 at speed 350.

I hope this was clear enough, ask away if not.
any help would be appreciated.
