Change word color inside a string!

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sat Sep 21, 2013 7:34 pm

Hi everyone!
How can I change to text color from one word inside the string object?
something like:

<color="blue">Hello<color>
<color="black">World<color>

is this possible? I saw a post on Construct Classic (from 2011).. and it wasn't possible, it's 2013 and we have Construct 2.
Am I any lucky? xD loool

If there's no native way, is there a custom plugin for it?!

I may be wrong but I don't think this is possible. Just use two text objects.

It's currently impossible with only one text object. I would love this feature too

You could hack a way with Sprite Font, but it would be using unused characters, that have different color version of the letters.
(like using all uppercase, and the uppercase are a different color.)
