Choose Browser

I prefer using Mozilla for my default browser, but C2 projects seems to run better in Chrome. Is there any way to have C2 run in Chrome while I still have Mozilla as my default?

I'd like this as well please, but with IE9

Yes, there certainly is. It is a good practice to test your game out in all of the top 5 web browsers to make sure it runs good in all of them before releasing it to the public. Just download, and install them. Then start up Construct 2, click on your layout area, in your layout properties window click on project properties view, then scroll down to were it says preview browser, and select the browser you want to use.

Wink is right, just change the 'preview browser' property in project properties, and it won't affect your default browser. It's always a good idea to test all major browsers though.

edisone - there are many very small browsers which generally aren't used widely - I think you should only concern yourself with testing the five major browsers Wink posted to save yourself some time and headaches.

Tnx for wink Ash,i'm using only Chrome and Palemoon,that's Firefox clone..it's built with same source,using same extension ,just more fast than the original one,so it's not properly a minor small browser..

It is minor in the sense that it is not one of the mainly used browsers. (Like Iron, the Chromium "rip off" version without all the tracking stuff)

Major browsers are IE, chrome and FF. You might eventually consider Safari and Opera, but HTML5-wise, they pretty much are behind the others.

This may sound dumb, but how do I change my default browser? I know how to change the browser that I use for each game, but I have to change it from my default to chrome. Is there an easy fix to this problem?

File > Preferences > Preview > Default preview browser [dropdown]

This will not change existing preview browser settings from older projects but every new project you create,

will have the selected option set as the "default" preview browser.
