  • Wow!.Where do you get the time to make all these great games and apps?.

Ive been building them your years, just never got round to putting stuff in the forums.

Ive got a hard drive full of the stuff !

  • Well your games rock , you could easily sell them.Im still struggling with python scripting for construct though.Do you have any advice on how to create a speech recognition type game with Construct?

  • Do you have any advice on how to create a speech recognition type game with Construct?

Use the Dragonfly library. It's great for speech recognition and works good with the SAPI interface on Windows Vista/7. If you only have XP then you have to download the speech library which is quite large (>200mb). http://code.google.com/p/dragonfly/

I was going to make a simple game with it called "Pickup Artist" where you go around talking to folks trying to hit on them. If you combined Dragonfly with PyAmil and the text to speech module you could carry on intelligent voice conversations with the girls. The alternative game would be "Gangsta Warrior" where you have to rap your way through combat... If only i have time!!

Edit: Sorry for posting on your threads Chrisbob.. you got some sweet games/apps. I was shocked with like 75% of the creations were all yours.

It allows you to create games by simply dragging and dropping things into place.

The player and sounds are added automatically.

The player controlls are the left \ right arrows, and 'z' to jump.

Take a look at the object list that comes with the download.

I am putting together a help section for this app, but feel free to play about with it.

Damn! You must be the most prductive dev I've ever known

Looks smart. Will it support pattern storing, so you can record a sequence and play it back?

The current version wont, but i will see if i can add it?

It should be possible if i can set up a way to record keystrokes or mouse clicks into an ini file.

(Similar to the Beatbox music maker)

i will keep you posted mate.
