Cocoon testin'

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Fri Oct 12, 2012 3:43 pm

I try to test Cocoon with an HTML5 export from Construct2 (free). From Cocoon literature, it shouldn't a problem. The Zip file is accepted by Cocoon launcher, (on an Android ICS system).
With or without the HTML file I get a nice black screen and 2 alerts:
-"Exception evaluating JS, cant find variable JQuery"
-"Result of expression 'document.write'[undefined]is not a function"
I feel guilty...what am i doing wrong ?

Exporting to CocoonJS is not supported in the free edition.

Hi Ashley
I figured out this one, however, Cocoon claim to support HTML5 + JS.
so, I'll keep on tweaking...

@patmar - the content exported from Construct 2 is not compatible with CocoonJS unless you use the specific 'Export to CocoonJS' export option, which is only available as a benefit of the licensed edition. I'm afraid we can't offer support when not using the intended workflow, so this topic is now closed.
