CocoonJS blend modes

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Wed Apr 03, 2013 7:54 am

Hello, I made some fx in C2 with blend modes, but they not show when exported to CocoonJS.

Anyone knows if and which blend modes are supported by CocoonJS??

Thanks

You're right, it looks like a bug in CocoonJS. I've reported it to them, hopefully they'll fix it soon.

I experimented a little more and found that the blend modes that CocoonJS can accept are the standard ones like:
normal, additive, XOR, Copy, Destination over, Source in, etc...

The ones CocoonJS doesnt support are:
burn, color, darken, dodge, hard light, multiply, overlay, etc...

I hope they fix that anytime soon because I made some very cool effects using those.

If you mean WebGL shaders, then those aren't supported in CocoonJS right now, but they've actually announced WebGL support is coming soon.

The blend mode property (which works without WebGL) ought to work, but a quick test turned up some bugs which I reported to Ludei. It might work in your own project though.
