CocoonJS "compile launcher" added

The CocoonJS cloud compile now has a new option just bellow Compile Project. It is called "Compile Launcher"
Anyone knows the benefit of this over old one?

You can compile your own launcher with that. It is like the official cocoonjs launcher but with your specific project configuration (scale mode, ads, analytics, box2d,...).

Does it mean we can hide/skip the Ludei splash screen with it?

It's there to allow you to test/debug your games with features that don't normally work in the launcher like Ads, in app purchases, etc.

At least that was my understanding based on their blog post about the updates.
