CocoonJS Deploy your games as native mobile apps

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

I don't understand the steps they describe in the website:

    Remove the HTML entry point file.

    Create a Canvas object manually from JavaScript. If needed, substitute document.getElementById function calls by document.createElement("canvas"); or new Canvas();

    Put all your JavaScript in one file. Your whole JavaScript code should be in just one .js file.

    Create a zip file with your JavaScript file and game assets. The current version of CocoonJS only loads local assets.

CocoonJS doesn't currently support Construct2.
As I understand the instructions:
1. Delete the index HTML-file.
2. In that HTML-file, there was a command to create canvas, so this should be now executed from the *js file with a command new Canvas();.
There should be only one *js file and all the java code should be in that one file.
3. There should be no folders, so this means that all the music, *js and *png or *jpg images should be together.
4. Select all files and create a zip.package(*zip) with winzip or winrar.

Don't bother trying CocoonJS, it doesn't work for the time being so even if you correctly follow the instructions it won't work.

@Basseman - it's a complicated project but we're progressing, we need to wait for appMobi to make some updates to directCanvas though so it depends partly on them. They're announcing directCanvas for Android soon as well.

I'm glad that been working on :)

Im not anti appmobi or hate them, but still have great faith for CocoonJS to became alternative beside appmobi and phongap, especially it's free

Not available for the free edition though. Would be nice to have a trial to see how well it works before we make a decision on whether or not to purchase.
