Post » Thu Jan 30, 2014 7:06 pm

Hi,

I want to add the Google Play Games (Google Leaderboard or Game Center) to my construct android app, but I'm not quite sure how.

Thats what I got

I would be glad :) Thanks a lot!

Can anyone send me a example projekt how to integrate the Game Center from Ludei into my construct app?

That looks right to me.

Have you tested it out? Is it not working?

To enable it in the cloud compiler, make sure you have the boxes checked.

Yes i have checked it, but if I touch the button nothing will happen. I also have set it up like you said in the cloud.

Any ideas? Do you know who it should look like if i touch the button to open it up?

I saw there is a "Gamecenter" and a "Google Play Games". Where is the different?

I have created a leaderboard in my google play developer console and added the ID into Social -> Google Play Games.

But I didn't found options to setup "Gamecenter". Are these two diffrent services?AndreasR2014-02-01 07:33:24

I dont even think Ludei even updated the C2 plugin to support Google achievement/leaderboard system. Hell, there's still alot of issues that has even been addressed like the blinking Ludei ,logo in your exported Android games. Their support is trash when it comes to communicating with C2 devs.

Yes, it kinda seems they are slowly forgetting C2 users. They used to answer questions very fast through the developer e-mail, but that changed in October or so. Now they just direct you to their forums where they do not seem to react to anything.

The future with C2 and iOS does not seem too rosy because of this.

I am happy we have new options for Android, tho!robotecollective2014-02-03 07:38:59

I would drop CocoonJS entirely. I have had nothing but bad experiences with them and their "product".

I love the idea of CocoonJS. And they finally have fixed the issue with the black screen on start up. I use a android app, so the Gamecenter option is useless for me. Do anybody know if (and yes, when) the Google Play Plugin is planed for Construct 2?

This would be a really nice feature for my game.

You need to spam Ludei and see if you can get a reply. Good luck, you'll need it.
