Cocoonjs in-app purchases

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sat Jul 13, 2013 10:30 am

I really can't figure it out

So what I have done is:
1. create an In-app Products on google play console called "removead"(id)
2. activate the item
3. in Construct2, use the cocoon plugin "Purchase product 'removead' with preview"

and... nothing happen.
Anyone figured out how to do it?

Me too. Have you tried using the name instead of the ID?. I know it does not sound plausible, but I'm desperate... Guess I could try it myself! :)

For the google play version, i actually wrote a small tutorial a few weeks back. Take a look at it, it might help you.

From what you write. Did you remember to fetch the products before you purchase? You need to do a fetch before you do a purchase. But more on that in the tutorial cvp2013-10-24 07:04:32

@cvp
Ty for your tutorial, was nicely done.
And it was the fetch command I was missing.

Still when I have bought the item, it is not applied in game. :/
("is product <id> purchased" not having effect)

Maybe because I made the in-app product in the developer console before adding the public key to Ludei Cloud Compiler??

I havent been able to get the "is product <id> purchased" to work either.

I save the purchase in webstorage and use that.

The problem I am still having (as i mentioned in the tutorial) is that restore purchases is also not working for me atm.

Restore purchases should trigger the "on purchase complete"(according to ludei documentation) but it doesnt seem to do that atm in C2.

@cvp, were you able to figure out how to get restore purchases working? I'm running into the same problem :( I'd like to have an option for a user to remove ads in my game but I need it to be a managed item so that they don't get ads showing again if they need to re-install.

@cvp any update on this? I notice that there are two "Restore Purchases" options in the CocoonJS object. Any idea which one works?
