CocoonJS IOS Game Center and In-App Purchases

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Thu Apr 18, 2013 5:47 pm

Hey guys,

I have spent countless days trying to learn how to implement these features into my game. Unfortunately, i have absolutely no java scripting skills which makes this task evidently more difficult for me. Can anyone be so kind and show me how to add these features with CocoonJS? I have a premium account with them already and can use the extensions.

Thank you very much for reading this and taking the time to help.

EDIT: I only need to use the game center extension for the leader boards option (grab/send a score to/from friends list). I do not need multiplayer gaming.Salvo7762013-04-18 17:59:56

Due to the lack of replies, I'm starting to think that this is a task not many in the world can successfully accomplish, let alone aid others in it.
Not what i was hoping, but it is what it is.

Hello,

To clarify, I need to add in a high score feature into my game and the ability to purchase an item via IOS In-App Purchase. I am using Cocoonjs and would like to know if anyone has accomplished this and is whiling to help me out. I already have a premium Cocoonjs account so i am able to use the extensions.

For online highscore check AJAX on Construct2 and PHP. If you want a offline highscore check Arrays on Construct2.

http://www.scirra.com/tutorials should help you out.

For in-app purchase; i don't think Construct2 is supporting it, because ludei's cocoonjs is not fully fixed.

I'm using the Clay.io plugin for these things. Which gives me the ability to have the same high scores for both Android users on Google Play and iOS users on App Store.

You can read about and download the Clay.io plugin here:
http://clay.io/docs/scirra

To see it in action check out the game for android here:
Free: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.onemuppet.tinydudesfree
Paid: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.onemuppet.tinydudes

I'm still waiting for Apple to approve my game (it was submitted for review 2 days ago).

Let me know if I can help

Hi!
Thanks for testing and for the reply, I appreciate it a lot! I'm trying to get an updated version of the game out but there are currently problem with the latest version of the Clay.io plugin. I will notify Austin about the problems that you reported and I'll also take a look at it myself to see if I could tweek the css to make it more responsive.

It would be great if you could take a screenshot and email it to me at onemuppet.david@gmail.com, so that I have a clear understanding of the problem.

Big thanks @tumira

Thanks for sharing this! Clay.io looks interesting. I was looking for something like this to be able to add a "unlock full game" feature or add some bonus content. :)

But does anyone know other alternatives? (without the need to know javascript or much coding) It's always good to compare.Bl4ckSh33p2013-07-23 11:35:28
