    Click to Play COLOR BOMBS.

    Let me know what you think. Is it good? Does it suck? Too many bloated goats? Not enough pizza?

  • Not bad, simple idea, pretty original, really addictive. Been going at it for the past 20 minutes.

    Was this done under 100 events?

  • This is a lot of fun. Simple, but interesting.

  • ,

    i don't know exactly what it is that i love about this type of game. maybe the simplicity, but i do indeed love them. i've been meaning to do a version in c2, but never got around to it.

    now i suppose there is no need...lol.

    the only thing i would have added, to what you have already ably accomplished, would have been to allow a 'ball' to continue its directed motion when selected and grow to it's max size, then shrink back to it's original size and disappear.

    having to track the continued movement of the 'ball' made it tricky, but i see now, that making it stop upon selection is equally tricky, because instead of tracking the selected 'ball', you have to track everything around it.

    very nice rendition sir. i may try and do it some day.

    thanks for making it harder to seem like i did something novel.

  • EncryptedCow oldsatchmo - thanks for checking it out.

    Nixel - glad to hear you played it for awhile. I am currently over 200 events.

    harrio - thanks for the compliments. I agree that the gameplay is simple but addicting. I'm glad you liked it. You should still make your own version as I would love to see your ideas for graphics and gameplay.

    Total of 60 levels to play now. Can you beat them all?

  • I stopped working on Color Bombs for a few weeks to give it a fresh perspective. I looked at it again and made the following changes:

    * timed levels improved - 10 seconds start after you create bomb

    * advanced levels improved - bomb speed varies and bomb blockers in each level

    * balanced level win conditions

    * some art updated

    * various gameplay tweaks

    Goto original post to play Color Bombs.

  • Unique game, it's addictive, but kinda frustrating because other than the first click, it's pretty much luck how far you get. Unless I'm missing something?

    Maybe after some progress make it so you can click again? Suggestion.

    Make it so instead of the same sound effects, maybe the tone gets higher or lower based on the number of collisions. Would give your ears something to enjoy too.

    Oh, and instead of having it say "you lose" change to "play again", or quit. Make it positive.

    The first few times I played and "died", when it said 'you lose', I thought, lost what/how, what did I do??
