Color variation

For questions about using Classic.

Hi everyone,

Is there a possible (and hopefully fairly simple) way of giving randomly generated objects a slight color variation.

Thanks

There are several ways. Set the color filter randomly (in a certain range ), or use one of the many color effects. Just limit the range of randomness for the color channels R G and B.

Interesting.

How do I use an expression to set the color filter, it only gives me a color picker?

Right click on filter and click "use expression".

Then you can use the ststem expression rgb(r,g,b) to choose colors.

Some Ideas:
Random color: rgb(random(255),random(255),random(255))
Random grey: rgb(1,1,1)*random(255)
Varied color around yellow: rgb(255-random(100), 255-random(100), random(100))
