Basically on file = ok it would be nice if we could get the actual text entered in the save dialog, or else it seems pretty pointless?

But i am not selecting a file, it is the save dialog, i am creating a file.
There should be an option for "text entered" so you can create a file using the name entered into the save dialog.

It still counts as a selected file, so it's the correct expression to use.

If you do want to split the returned path into just the file name etc, you can use the Path object to do that.

Well if it works then cool, and if it does, it's really not a good name to call the expression, it's not clear at all for new users.

Well technically it isn't because the user would be entering in the information in the dialog box, not selecting a file, right? So why should it be called "FirstSelectedFile" ?

Something much more simple like "textentered" would be better.

So they would then do save dialog ok -> grab the text entered, do their saving.
