Conditions to families in R87

Get help using Construct 2

I have recently installed r87 and as far as I can tell I can no longer add conditions using families, the new folder structure means I have no choice but to apply the condition to a single object. Is this the case for anyone else? And if so is this a bug?

I think I may be misunderstanding you, but I'm able to create family-based conditions with r87 currently.

I threw together a very quick test showing that I'm able to create conditions with family objects, as follows:
family-test-r87.capx

Is that what you're referring to?

That is what I was asking and in your example it is working, so I went back and tried again in my project and am still having problems.
For some families I can add conditions to a family, but the family I specifically want to add a condition to opens as a folder instead of being selectable.

Anyone ever encountered this problem, and if so is there a solution?

Does the family have the same name as a folder? If so, it's a known and reported bug in r87 beta, it should be fixed in the next release. The workaround is to rename the folder.
