Consistant Platform Movement Speed

Get help using Construct 2

Hey everyone!

I am having an issue with my platform movement speed. When I test my game, on a lower end device, the frame rates drop, as expected. Unfortunately this allows my Platform Character to jump higher than intended. Enabling the user to reach places he/she shouldn't be able to.

I believe I know how to fix this. Somehow I need to relate the movement speed to deltatime. Correct? Any insight would be great. Thanks!

The behaviors already take deltatime into consideration. Are you using custom events to make your character jump?

They are using dt, but it's been reported a handful of times that there is a problem with lower FPS. I don't know why this problem hasn't been solved, but I recall this since r110.

The Platformer behavior uses the movement of X Speed per second. So it shouldn't matter. but that doesn't seem to be the case.
