great update!

only new concern i have is strictly cosmetic.

i first noticed it in the last version. not sure how long its been like this since i dont use construct that much, but the autohide side bars are annoying.

it only displays the currently selected tab and all the others are tiny smashed tabs. not good.

Cecil: that's not meant to happen, try deleting the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Construct\ folder in the registry and start up Construct again.

uninstalled, deleted the scirra program folder, deleted the registry, and reinstalled construct. no dice.

i noticed this on the last version and that was before i recently system restored my computer because of clutter. so its still happening on a fresh install.

Must be a bug in the UI library. I'll follow it up with the developers.

Nice update. Some excellent new features in there. :) Thing is, it seems to have broken my game... big time. It's so broken that it will lock up and nothing you can do will close it out or restore control to your computer. :?

Could someone post an example of how to use the mesh distortion feature? I can't figure out how to work it. No matter what numbers I put in, it just looks like the plain old default sprite (and yeah, I set up the mesh rows/columns in a Start of Layout event).

Aw, finally, Plasma is in there, and I decided I wasn't going to use Construct any more. Well, it's a neat feature in any case. I'm going to look for some sort of program made to do the same effect as Plasma but in Python or PyGame. Wish me luck.

Could you send your .cap to ashley@scirra.com? I'll see if I can do anything about it. Alternatively, you can try the old delete-stuff-till-it-works approach.
