I have every version since 98.9 installed into a convenient "Construct Versions" folder. Very handy. 8)

Does it happen in 0.99.72? What is the exact error message?

Now it just says "Error executing program". :/

Previously it was along the lines "Cannot start the application because the configuration file is incorrect. Please re-install your application.".

Haven't tried 0.99.72 though, but I did try earlier unstable versions and they didn't work too.

Did you run the full installer including the Visual C++ 2005 redist? That's the kind of error you'd get if you didn't run the full setup.

You only need to install it once per machine, but it did change a few months back because Microsoft issued a security update, so it might be worth installing it again if you see that message.
