Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

So, are construct 2 users ever going to be able to put there games on steam in an update or such thing? because i would say most of us are going to make pc games and the most pc gamers buy on steam.

its not a need im just wondering if this will ever happen.

Well, PC games on steam are nothing more than PC games that go through a greenlight (or are from big developers). You can export to desktop in C2, it's up to you then to try and get your game on the big Steam platform. If you do a little forum search, you'll see that several games have tried already to get there.

A game made with node webkit, which C2 uses for exe export, has been greenlit for steam. So yes, C2 games can get on steam.

Game Dev Tycoon, I believe.

Tools within C2 that would let us work with the steam tools would be very helpful, if any of us manage to make a successful enough game that Valve would let us on their service, though :)ChrisAlgoo2013-07-12 18:49:46
