Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • I dont know if this has been asked, but i think it would b awesome to have a construct 2 app, or mobile. That would surely help lots of us folks to speed up our ideas, apps, and games or anything we are working on with construct 2. It would surely be great to have construct 2 in my pocket

  • Lol, if you want a mobile Construct 2.

Buy a Surface or a cheap Windows tablet and install Construct 2 there...

  • This would be awesome and I've thought about it too, but as time and resources are limited I'd rather have Scirra work on Construct 3 at this point.

Who knows, maybe this will be possible one day with the C3?

  • Waltuo yes I know it would be damn cool if C3 would come also in that way.

I own the surface pro 3, and the surface book, but none of them fit in my pocket. I meant it as in an app version, a mobile as in phone, you know, pocket. But your small tablet comment is not a bad idea

  • If you want mobile, use something like Teamviewer to remote into your desktop.

I can program on the go with it.

  • Waltuo yes I know it would be damn cool if C3 would come also in that way.

I just couldn't imagine trying to use the events system on my cell phone. That would be annoying for me... just saying.

  • thats another awesome point, I will definitely look into that, since is not available at the moment, it would b a good way to access my C2 on the go.

well yeah i see your point, but then again a mobile version would have a way to interact with it in a easy way, like tabs, or something like that, to make the workflow smooth. It is all possible, lets not be negative on the possibility of it

Yeah, you wouldn't probably make a whole game in it but you could well add/improve some features while in a bus/train/lunch break or whatever. Personally I would find use for it for sure.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Thats exactly what i was trying to ge to, it would increase my C2 productivity, usually ideas hit me while I'm away from my book, and having C2 with me would help me input those ideas to my project, that would be huge!! Like right now, I'm writing this while we wait in line at COSTCO to pay, using my phone, not a laptop or tablet, just my phone in full web mode

  • Waltuo you sure know what's up!!! I know a desktop app cant b replaced by a phone app, but the whole point is to get access to it, and add/change things here and there, while you are away, or while you get to go home

  • Sorry to say it, but this is a stupid idea. It would be a waste of time and resources.

Like other people said, you can get a cheap Windows tablet, use Team Viewer or have C2 on a stick and continue your work on any PC.

Also I seriously doubt you can do anything productive on a <5" screen.

  • LOL well again, no need to be negative nor judge whats stupid or not, just something I would love to have on my phone. However your opinon is welcome About the waste of time and resources, I'm not sure about that, I believe a lot of us would put it to great use, and would be willing to pay for such app. They say a smartphone is just as smart as the person using it, so you tell me, what can YOU do on a 5" screen??? To some, just check facebook, to others is an extension of their brain.

  • Most Windows tablets only run on arm architecture, which means it won't run C2.

Then there's the whole mouse thing....

  • Thanks for the info newt, that makes tablet point obsolete Well I guess the whole mobile C2 is out of question as well(at least for now) But my message was not say what works or not, or if its stupid, or tangible. It was to say it would be awesome to have something that would help you move faster on your C2 projects while you are away of your main computer, maybe just adding a bit of code, or replacing a sprite, do things that could help you or implement ideas at that particular time and place, rather than wait till you get home to do so. Some of us have full time jobs and not a lot of time to spend on our primary machines to keep the project going. It turns out to be a topic with very divided thoughts

  • it could be nice but they have to make it for touch screen devices and for that they have to change the ui

i guess its might be happening in c3 if they support touch screen and make a ui for that

and i have a t100 tablet and i work with c2 on that but i have to use mouse and keyboard

because c2 dont have touch support for tablets

so i use my tablet like a laptop !
