You can currently use VS Express and build all the plugins and the runtime with some minimal tweaks.

Vectors, universal game pad support, and plug-ins written in C# or Java. Especially vectors, I didn't foresee this limitation being a problem, but it may force me to use Game Maker or SFML.

you mean vector graphics or something? well you can sort of get the modifiable polygon effect with distort maps

I'd like resolution independence, please >_<

I mean auto adjust for aspect ratio, zoom, black bars and auto coordinate system adjustment.

EDIT: As currently this is a major pain, specially with stuff like the wrap behavior and others, you'll have to adjust MANY parameters for any resolution change. You might have to mess with every single motion parameter.

Oh and I wish the Custom Movement plugin was framerate independent, but that's for another thread :P

Ability to edit Particles/Plasma and other realtime Effects which need a lot of tweeking in realtime, without the need to run the layout. This one would be a big time saver.
