Congratulations! I voted and commented earlier.

Everyone, definitely try to get some friends to vote as well, Scirra needs you! I'll get a few extra votes from friends in the coming days.

Here was my response.

Before construct 2 I was lost in a sea of arrays, methods and classes. I was in a never ending for loop of programming doom. Then, I saw a light break through the never ending functions. It was Construct 2. I was saved from the torment of coding painfully by hand. Never again would I have to think about the scope of my variables. It's been over a year since I was in the pits of native code development. Construct 2 saved me and for that I am thankful.

Awesome news! Voted and commented.
Betting it won't take long to get all the support it needs.
wonder what possible steam workshop integration would be like?

In case of problems on Steam, grab Construct and run as fast as you can. And problems there regularly.DrNickTo2012-10-18 06:52:43

GameMaker: Studio was recently accepted onto Steam as the first game development engine (a process done outside of Greenlight.) I wonder if there was any exclusivity involved?
