Construct 2 Podcast

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

I agree with you jobel, but I don't have time to edit it out as much as I'd like. Sometimes the guests don't have the right setup and we don't want to bother them too much with it, sometimes it's us...it depends. I try to make it sound decent before I upload it, which I think it does.

It could sound better but... I'm lazy and too eager to publish the episodes :P Actually, I wouldn't say I'm that lazy, but it's a lot of work and time that I just don't have.

Great job guys! I have only listened to about half of the episodes so far, but have thoroughly enjoyed them. It was awesome to hear Ashley talk about how it all started, and what to expect in the future.

It is also fun checking out the various blogs and web sites - lots of useful info on what has been working, or not working so well.

Thanks! Can't wait to hear more.

After listening to a few shows, I'm really digging the podcast.

Since I mostly listen to podcasts on my phone it would be nice if you could add artist, title and a cover for the podcast audio file details. It's easier to track in my music player and it also looks nicer.

The RSS feed does all that for you. I haven't done it on the files themselves because I simply forgot. Most people use Stitcher and iTunes to listen to podcasts though.

Hi, what happened to the podcasts? I was really enjoying them but it's been like 2 weeks maybe?

Last week was thanks giving so we didn't do one. This weeks is done, but with Ludem Dare going on, Alvaro won't edit until early next week.

We are probably going to start doing them every 2 -3 weeks instead of weekly.

What takes the most time in your editing?, I know some audio work, and (usually) have free time, I can help if you want.

The problem is not finding an editor. It's finding someone that would do it for every episode, long term. Also, someone that would know what to cut... So that would be pretty much me or Ed I think, because we know what we want in the podcast or not. You may not notice it, but the podcast is heavily edited, there's stuff that we leave out for various reasons.

Hello ArcadEd,

I have a YouTube Channel where I talk about Programming, Drawing and more programming and video editing.
I do this often along with programming and drawing on my own for work.

This is one of the video of my Python Programming video [Don't watch part 1, it sucks cause back then I was just starting out, part 7 is the better one cause I get better ;p]:

This is on a game I am developing:

As of right now I have 1,263 subscribers and 537,900 views so I do have some audience on my side, I have the audio equipments [Tascam/Zoom] to record good audio and I would love to be part of your Podcast in someway.

I can also bring some of my audience to you if this happens and expose them to Construct 2.
