Construct Classic r1 released (unstable)

New releases and general discussions.

[ADD]Platform: new actions to ignore object types - allows you to ignore specific platforms and solids to more easily create stairs, elevators, ghosts, etc(lucid)

This has had a major effect on my game. I have been pondering a particular problem and potential solutions for a long time, not really wanting to open the can of worms and this had it solved in 2 minutes. Cheers Lucid!

[quote="Ashley":1bzxbjoo]Is the physics issue blocking a "stable" release? We can do a r1.1 with a fix so we have a stable Construct Classic, if that suits.[/quote:1bzxbjoo]
Stick to whole numbers, please, otherwise we'll fall into the 0.99.999999 trap again :)

r1, r2, r2932, r2933 etc. make more sense. It just means "the next iteration".

This wouldn't be an actual iteration, just a fix for a single problem, so 1.1 makes sense...
Btw, physics problem is fixed, so expect that update soon

Majority of releases are bug fixes...

True true. But, this is a quick single fix for a feature/bug initiated in this release. There isn't a whole changelog, its a fixed version of Release 1, basically.

The physics interacting with other behavious is most welcome! Some things I wanted to do with custom movement while needing physics for other parts. So cheers for that!

Man I was fixing up my old pool game for the newer versions and got it all working, then installed CCr1 and the balls starting flying in all directions upon starting the game. I could've saved many hairs from being pulled out if I'd known it was a bug ;p

Fortunately it's solved now.

sorry about that guys. ashley's laptop is gone again, so it will be a little bit before the rerelease. Anyone who wants to start working again now though, just download this(1.7MB), and copy it to Construct/Plugins/Runtime/ directory. When it asks, say yes to overwrite the file that's already there. Then your Construct will be at r1.1 (sans installation problems of course). Please test out the new physics, and let me know if there are anymore problems.

THANKS FOR THE UPDATE!!! :D
@ lucid: Physics now works well for me with your patch. Thanks
PD: The platform behaviour player 2~9 don't work, weird moves to the right side of the screen :-(
(I don't know how to post this in the tracker)
