Control Rotation Speed

Hey hey!

I have a circle that rotates when it is in a collision with another object. After X amount of time it stops and that is fine.

What I am wanting to accomplish is to have the circle slowdown its rotation speed as it nears the end of the rotation time limit.

I have an idea of how this would be possible but I am unsure of the math behind it. Could anyone explain this to me?

Thank You,
Stephen

Could you explain in what way you have the events for rotation set up?
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

The cube just sits there rotating. Is this what you had planned for it to do?Tekniko2014-01-22 21:58:35

Not on pc now so I can't check- but it is meant to spin when the mouse is over and slow down when mouse free. I hope I posted the right capx

Doesn't seem to be working as intended. I'm off to work. I'll check back in a few hours. Maybe I can figure this out after a break.

Worried me enough to fire up the computer. Glad to report it does work - move mouse over and cube spins, remove mouse and after 5 seconds cube slows down to 0 revs. Very simple - here is the event sheet

Works perfectly. Does exactly what I was looking for. Now I just need to figure out how it all works, lol.

Thank You,
