today i found something weird and i couldn't fix it , i want to make something like :

a skill bar with cooldown timer , there are many games use it like battleheart ,...

the idea of the cooldown timer :
is the when i click on the skill button it will goes a little dark or transparent and it keeps going back until it charged.

my capx :

my problems with my capx :
all of my buttons has the same timer while i want every button has its own time of cooldown like button1 will have 10sec and button2 will have 5sec of cooldown and so on ...

also is there a way to make the cooldown fit with the mask and fit the button?? i don't know how to say but i want something that always keep fitting the button size so if i resized the button everything will work fine , i hope i explained my problem very well .. ^^

last thing i want to know ... is this really called cooldown button ?? or it has another name ?? and what is it..

thanks for reading, waiting your helps ^^ zsangerous2013-01-10 17:56:52

You use a global variable for all the buttons, you'd need every button have their individual timer variable.

I did a little variation of your capx here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19921470/cooldown.capx

Note that this is not the best way to do things, I hope it helps you understand certain things you had overlooked like picking :)

Thanks, Vee41.
This is exactly what I was attempting to figure out.
