  • In most countries, copyright is automatic. So you do not need to do anything. People are automatically not allowed to use other people's work even if they don't do anything at all to protect it.

However the usual thing to do is include a line like this:

"Copyright 2012 Joe Bloggs. All rights reserved."

I'm not a lawyer, but I think that's legally better than having nothing in some countries (so nobody could mistake it for creative commons or something).

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • The actual true mention required is "All rights reserved".

But depending on your country's laws the access to copyright is different.

The best is to research the legislation currently applied in your country.

  • Noob question = It's possible to get the code of the game, sprites and other stuffs from an already done HTML5 game?

if yes, there is some type of security tool to prevent that?

  • Minifying script might prevent code stealing.

    As for images, not really.
