Could be a dumb question - Video?

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sun Jul 08, 2012 1:42 pm

Will construct 2 ever be able to support some kind of video capability? So we can insert pre-rendered cutscenes?

Youtube uses HTML5 doesn't it?

I could be wrong though, just a thought.

i remember when i tried to do that and i made it with 150+ frames and worked on chrome 60 fps but i haven't try it on mobiles

so you could do it with sprite until construct2 support it officially ^^

the program i used as i remember is called : blender

^ Blender is a 3D animation program isn't it?

I am talking about MP4 or MPEG2 or H.264 files like you would put on youtube, but instead have them play inside the game.

i know what you mean there is plugin for that in plugin section , but i'm talking about changing videos into pictures and use them as sprite object with the blender 3d program xD but when you try it you will see that the sprite is too slow because you need to higher the animation speed to 30+

Try searching the site for "video" and see if it's not the first thing that pops up.
