Counting the number of instances of an object

Hi , I know my question is a bit stupid but please help me , is there any way to count the number of instances of an object on a layout ?!

Is there any special properties for this ?

For future reference, if you add a action to an object (like Add-to or Subtract-from), in the object expression helper window one of the types you can select is 'System'. This has a whole range of functions you can choose from like floor, max, min, etc.boolean2012-10-21 19:57:08
