  • If I drag a event-layout in the project bar onto the screen layout, Construct crashes.

    Hope this helps .

  • Its not crashing on mine.

  • Try Construct 3

  • You're doing what now? Trying to drag an event sheet into a layout?

First off, I can't figure out why you'd want to. Second, when I try it nothing crashes. Nothing happens at all. Likewise, nothing happens when I drag an event sheet from the list into the event sheet editor (though maybe it should create an include? New feature, Ash?)

Or do you mean that you can't reorder event sheets in the project bar? Because that does cause a crash for me.

  • If you're trying to say you're dragging or rearranging events within an event sheet, and it crashes, that's a known bug when using Vista. I believe it is to be addressed in the next release or two.

EDIT: Re-read your post, comment still stands. Re-arranging event sheets / layouts in the side bar also produces this known crash.

Sorry for the formulation in the op, this is what I meant . Strange thing, I'm not even using vista.

  • Well THAT's not exactly what Ash wants to hear, I'm sure. ^_^

A little more information would be helpful. Does this only happen in one specific .cap? When it happens, is it a specific event, or all of them? Are there any external variable that might be affecting construct? (open programs, using a program compatibility setting, low mem/page file?)
