Crashing when zooming and other weird stuff

  • Problem Description

    When i zoom in/out in my layout, my c2 crashes. On new project i see blank space, can see objects i place, but on examples i see gray layout. Also i don't see buttons for event sheets and layouts in the project navigation. Only some weird space.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Open your c2
    • You're done!

    Observed Result

    Also, stuff making c2 crash are:

    rotating objects,

    using some sprite editor's functions,

    scaling,

    other bunch of activities.

    Expected Result

    It should work...

    Windows 7 without sp

    Construct 2 Version ID

    I am using a new pc, i can't use c2 since 199? Proably older versions are not working also.

    To everyone with this problem - install newest service pack updates for your system <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile"> !

  • this doesn't sound like a editor bug(as if it was more people would be having it ). make sure your Graphics drivers are updated to the latest version

  • Looks like a duplicate of https://www.scirra.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=151&t=129306. I'm pretty worried that AMD are going to put out a driver update that breaks C2. Let me see if I can get in touch with them.

  • I have the newest graphic drivers bug guess what. It was Windows 7. I downloaded the service pack, now it works like a charm <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy"> ! Ashley, you should add service pack 1 on win7 to minimal requirements.
