Create an effect similar to this?

New releases and general discussions.

A few years back a genious called Ultimatewalrus created a water effect with pretty good looking waves. For you who have mmf, her's the link http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/ubbt ... 79&fpart=1
Is it possible to use some of constructs high-tech features to make this, or is it as hard as in mmf?

I don't have MMF2, so you'll have to come up with another way to describe the effect!

I've been working on my own water effects for a while. Personally, I'm waiting for the tiled background object to be significantly bugfixed or upgraded (large tiles disappear).

As far as that demo goes, I don't have the software to run it. Is there an executable floating around?

Its just pack of long rectangles which change their y position by next rectangle look...

Need a sinusoidal movement and you have water.

Oh, that's something completely different than what I'm doing. Still cool, though.

It's not the same and, NO, I'm not trying to win your curiosity. Hubris is a trait beneficial to neither of us.

Gah! I was sleepy and confused your sarcasm for condescension. My appologies.
