Creating a Free Rotating Object

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Tue Jan 21, 2014 9:54 pm

Hey,

Using the physics engine, I have a sprite that is rectangular.

I want the sprite to be pinned in it's center so it does not fall with gravity, or move from that position, but also allow it to rotate along the center.

How can I go about doing this properly?

Thanks!

Easiest way would probably be creating an immovable sprite and attaching this sprite to it with a revolute joint.
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

That's what I was thinking, but I figured there might have been a more appropriate approach to it.

Thanks!

Looks like this topic got repeated here ;

I left an example using the pin behavior. Pin to position only, since the angle is determined by the physics interacting together.
