Cross Domain Ajax Requests

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Fri Aug 14, 2015 4:16 am

How do I configure the ajax object to work with urls on a different domain?

All I need is to save the data on a webpage to an array. The data on said page is already in json format and ready to go.
When I save the data locally and request it, everything works fine. Therefore I'm sure its an issue with cross domain security.

As a side note, I tried loading the page in pode's iframe which worked perfectly but when I try to get the inner html the browser throws an error referring to cross domain stuff.

Anyone got any ideas?

The manual article for the AJAX plugin does have a dedicated paragraph on this very issue.
