@TiAm
Visual Studio is a very, very mature piece of software
I hope we can start usign the latest version of CW as soon as they are released and take advantage of bug fixes, new features and performance improvements! :)

I thought if you use visual studio for making money you need to buy it or pay some money monthly, at least it was like that in 2013, VC 2015 will be free?

As far as I know all Visual Studio Editions are going to be compatible with Apache Cordova, and the Community Edition is free

I'm not sure about the price of the other Editions, but if you have an academic email, you can ask for a free Professional Edition 8-) at DreamSpark

@Sisyphus
@Iolva

I just looked into that; basically, if you are a small developer -- like, not making more than 1 million a year, or employing more than 5 people who use VS -- the community edition is free to use, even for commercial projects.

I think the rationale is that if students and entrepreneurs use visual studio now, they will keep using it when/if they succeed. :)

Built an application on crosswalk, and the game crashed right out the bat, tried using every crosswalk version and tried each one of them on 2 different arm devices and one x86 decive, all of them had the same result, i don't know if it means anything but when i used the "android" build the game ran fine on every device
Also i don't know if this is the right place to ask for support but if it is, what could be causing this?

Woohoo. This is exactly what I've been looking for. My 2mb game is somehow taking over 50mb on my phone and it's driving me nuts.

Just wanted to update everyone. We've tested the Skia fix in Crosswalk 15 and Crosswalk 14. The Crosswalk team is doing final Q/A/test on the Crosswalk 14 version for the Intel XDK (hopefully this week), then we will fast track it into the XDK.

Thanks for the good news! Any info on the shared mode discussed above?
