im having an issue for when he is coming out of battle, im using a cheap trick atm to set him down at where the monster was before the fight, but thats very limited. is there anyway to remember where exactly the overworld sprite was before the battle starts, so i can set him there when i move him back to the overworld layout? i tried using global value to record his x y position, and apply them to the sprite when it goes back, but no luck :( btw, what did you think of vid? ^_^

Global should work, so I'm guessing it might be a timing issue.

The vid looks nice, kind skippy at points, but otherwise it looks like it has promise.

That battle system looks very impressive so far :) I can imagine something really interesting being made with that.

aaaah i see what i was doing wrong, i was setting BOTH is x and y to the same global and telling it to read both from the same variable thinking it could tell them apart, i see you have to do both x and y separately! ty! ^_^ and ty everyone for all the comments, lol, its nice to be apritiated :3
